- I'm, by no means, a serial golfer; I just don't have the time. great sport. Since I've been in the business, I've been amazed by the pleasure this sport brings to people. Most individuals that operate or own a golf store do so as an extension of their passion for the sport. This is what has made my involvement in the golf industry so gratifying. I enjoy, so much, the chance to apply my creative business skills to contribute to the success of golf retailing. Over the past 10 years the industry has changed so much and, unfortunately, so many proprietors have struggled to keep their golf stores. I am so confident that with a little "out of the box" thinking there a lot of hidden business opportunity at a golf store besides just selling golf clubs and balls.
